Weeding Out Drivel

Google has embarked on a vigorous drive to weed out low-quality websites from search results. Portals that will get a hard knock are those that either copy content or crank out shabby content. (Think: “content farms,” such as Demand Media, Associated Content, Examiner, and the like.)

At the same time, it’ll provide better rankings for quality websites, which offer original content, such as in-depth research, thoughtful analysis etc.
