The other night, this is what we had for dinner: grilled chicken on sticks.
Not far from our place, in Brooklyn, only two blocks away, is a newly-opened barbecue place called Mr. Q’s Grill. My understanding is that “Q” is the owner’s initial, whose Chinese name, in its entirety, was too complicated to insert into the restaurant name.
It’s a very small, cozy eatery, with space for no more than four tables and pub chairs. The menu features an assortment of savory skewers, all unbeatably priced at $1. The meats are tender, succulent, and well-spiced—just the way we love it.
