For a while, it seemed that Kodak’s moment (in the Sun) had come and gone, but in the recent past, the former photography giant has been trying to come back into relevance, by making a foray into the phone market.
It won’t be making the devices, though. It’ll farm out manufacturing to an English company called Bullitt.
The hardware is speculated to have two faces, one of which may house an Instamatic camera; the other, an Android-powered phone.
The original Instamatic was an easy-to-use, instant camera, rolled out by Kodak in 1963, which made taking pictures a cinch.
