Google To Deliver Grocery

Google Express grocery bags.

Other than delivering search results, what else do you expect your search engine to do for you?

Well, Google is gearing up to launch a service for delivering fresh produce and grocery in San Francisco and another U.S. city, upping the competition for AmazonFresh and Instacart.

The service will be powered by Google Express—which already ships packaged foods and other merchandise to customers—while the supplies themselves, will be sourced from Whole Foods and Costco.
