An Egghead Of A Grill

The Komodo Kamado.

Ranging in price anywhere between $500 and $6,000, the Komodo Kamado grills are one of the finest that money can buy.

Their oval shape and tiled ceramic shell remind me of both an oversize Fabergé egg and the Komodo dragon. Modeled after the Japanese kamado, a round clay pot with a domed clay lid, it came to the attention of the Americans after World War II.
