Forget Fish. You Can Eat Dead Fish.

Flavors inside a box of “Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans.”

While riding the Hogwarts Express, Ron Weasley tells Harry Potter about one of the most loved candies in the wizarding world: “Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans.”

As its name suggests, there are beans of many flavors in the box and not just the regular ones.

You want to be careful with these. When they say every flavour, they mean every flavor—you know, you get all the ordinary ones, like chocolate and peppermint and marmalade, but then you can get spinach and liver and tripe. George reckons he had a bogey-flavored one once.

There’s also Black Pepper, Earthworm, Dirt, Earwax, Soap, Sausage and Grass.

A toothpaste-flavored jelly bean.

In the Muggle world, “Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans” may be bought at Jelly Belly.

In fact, its BeanBoozled line of candy has additional flavors such as Toothpaste, Rotten Egg, Moldy Cheese, Canned Dog Food, Baby Wipes, Booger, Lawn Clippings, Skunk Spray, Barf and Stinky Socks.

Soon, they’ll be joined by two more icky flavors: Dead Fish and Spoiled Milk.
